McBee's Presents Chef Josef's Christmas Buffet

Our nationally-renowned chef, Josef Schelch, is preparing a delicious Christmas buffet meal this Friday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.  Come enjoy our pleasant decor while you sample a variety of dishes. Below is the menu:

Salad Station

-Medley of seasonal lettuce with choice of dressing, tomato, potato salad,

cole slaw, assorted cheeses, crackers and rolls.

Buffet

-Slow roasted top round beef with au jus and horseradish sauce

-Sauteed chicken breast with baby shrimp sauce over linguine noodles
-Baked salmon filet with creamy dill sauce

-Steamed red bliss potatoes with sauteed onions

-Christmas-style mashed potatoes

-French green beans with almonds

Dessert Station

-Boston creme pie

-Christmas brownies

-Chocolate macaroons

-Jell-o with fruit cocktail and whipped cream

Come join us for great food, some Christmas music and good cheer.  Adults eat for $15.95 while kids 12-and-under eat for $7.95.  And after dinner, perhaps take our Christmas light Trolley tour.

Mountaineer Regular-Season Finale Tonight!

The West Virginia Mountaineers must win tonight to stay in line for the Big East's automatic qualifying bid to the Bowl Championship Series.  Come and root the Mountaineers on with us tonight!

Kickoff is set for 8 p.m. and half-price alcoholic drinks of all sorts start at 9 p.m. and go until we close!

Herd and Mountaineer Game-Watches Today!

The Marshall Thundering Herd and the West Virginia Mountaineers both play today.  The Herd battles Tulsa while the Mountaineers try to get back on track as they face Big East leader, Cincinnati.  Both games start at noon.

Half-price beer for anyone in Herd or Mountaineer garb during the games.  Come watch some pigskin with us!

Mountaineer Gamewatch Tonight!

The 15th-ranked West Virginia Mountaineers take to the road tonight as they battle the Syracuse Orange.  Come join us and watch the game on our 12-foot screen.  Beer and appetizers are half-price during the game.  Make sure to wear your Old Gold and Blue!

Dinner and A Jazz Concert Tonight!

The Chris Oxley Quartet with vocalist Jane Harkins will be in concert this Wednesday at McBee's Hall.  Slow-Roasted Prime Leg of Beef and a variety of delicious side dishes will be served for dinner, which begins at 6 p.m.  The musicians will perform from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.  Tickets are $50 per couple, or $30 for a single ticket, and are available in advance, or at the door.

Kids' Night Now On Tuesdays!

We had several friends mention that Kids Night' being on a Wednesday interfered with some church schedules, so we have moved it to Tuesdays.  Lacy the Fairy will be doing her thing with the face paints, and we'll have classic cartoons playing for the kiddies.  Little Shamrock meals include a drink and a dessert.  Bring your family for a fun meal!

Chili Night in Beckley!

College Football, and It's Halfway to St. Patty's Day!

If you like college football, come and join us today, as the West Virginia Mountaineers take to the road for the first time this year.  The Mountaineers face the Maryland Terrapins at noon.  This evening, Marshall squares off with Ohio in the Battle of the Bell.  Kickoff is at 7 p.m.

And as if those two games weren't enough, other featured games include Tennessee vs. Florida, Michigan State vs. Notre Dame, and Oklahoma vs. Florida State!

It's halfway to St. Patty's Day today, and in honor of that we have all day drink specials, evening buffet, games, prizes and more!  Come and enjoy!
